Best Outdoor Pools Across London 2020!

Image
Since London can be so temperamental with the weather and heat we want you to all be prepared for if and when it decides to hit us. There are lots of opportunities to go to indoor pools but say the sun hits and you want to enjoy the sun as if we’re in spain then London has a few outdoor pools to help us enjoy the best bits of summer.  Take a trip down to any of these London outdoor pools, and lidos. Most of them offer more than just a spot to splash about though, with safes, and other exercise facilities, you can go with friends or family and make a day of it! Hampton Pool is a great place to start with outdoor pools as it isn’t as well known as some of the others on this list, but that’s perfect for you to use their pools in peace. It has two heated pools that are always kept perfectly at 28C. The main pool is 36M long and the second one is that bit shorter for children and parents. They have adult only classes and half the pool is always used for lane swimming. So whether...

Best Outdoor Gyms in London!

Image
Now whether you truly enjoy working out or not, i’m going to go with the majority and say probably not. It is still good for you to get your half hour of exercise daily. That being said though not everyone wants to pay out for an expensive gym membership to be in a hot sweaty space with lots of people who seem to know exactly what they’re doing whilst you may not have a clue. That’s okay though, we’ve got a couple options to help you out. Now whilst we're in July we may be enjoying some hot weather depending on how England wants to act. Now across London in some of the best parks they;’ve put out some really good quality outdoor gyms. They’re dotted across London and completely free to use. So you can enjoy the weather and get your half hour in without having to be around any sweaty people, other than yourself.  Starting with Roundwood Park, there is a great outdoor gym to enjoy. With all the outdoor equipment there are also multi-use game areas too for you to use. Not on...

Biggest Parks In London!

Image
London isn’t just a concrete jungle like you may think it would be, we have aoms egreat parks and forests across London to help you really enjoy the summer. Some of these are widely known whilst others are just a little more hidden. We wanted to cover some of the biggest parks in London so it won’t matter how busy it’s going to be because you’ll have more than enough space to yourself! The best part about all of this too is that it’s completely free. You can take in the sun, if we get it for that long, and enjoy the space.  Starting with Hampstead Heath, is one of the less manicured parks in London but that doesn’t take away from it’s beauty at all. Only four miles from Trafalgar Square and has about 800 acres of lovely countryside to enjoy! Not only will you find all your classic park goers such as dog walkers, nature lovers, joggers, and more. You’ll also get to enjoy the animals, you may get to see the muntjac deer, woodpeckers, and parakeets that are residents of the park...

Fun Date Ideas!

Image
Going on dates in London can get pretty boring pretty quick if your idea of a date is dinner or drinks. There’s only so much you can learn about someone by the personality they set up for the first date you go on. So, it’s time to break out of that rut you know, the museums and brunch can be great too but it’s still not what we’re aiming for. You may have a great time, and even better learn enough about your date on whether you want a second date or not. Get out of your comfort zone, get competitive, and creative with these three different date ideas! Firstly, here is a great opportunity to see what your dates culinary skills are like. Are you the type that can barely boil pasta, or are you the next contestant for the Great British Bake Off? Either way you can have a great time between going through the class, enjoying the process. You may just see if they’re the type to get just a bit frustrated when you make a mess of the counter as well. Seen as dating is a way to see if you l...

So you can enjoy it all without being too far away from home when it inevitably pours down! Starting off with a great option right next to the Thames. Image
London is full of so many opportunities, and chances to do whatever you want, however with this big concrete jungle of buildings creativity can get lost on us sometimes. Those daily commutes start to take a toll and you actually get excited when the ad changes at the station so you have something new to look at. Well there’s a few spots around London where you can escape all of that and really get your hands dirty yourself. Have a creative outburst at any of these spots and we’re sure you’ll jump into a new craft, or take the time to just enjoy the ones you know already. Image
Whether you’re the type to splash the cash on events like this or you’re the last minute sainsburys bottle of wine and a card person, Father’s Day is still right around the corner, and you still want your dad to be proud of you right? This year Father’s Day falls on Sunday the 16th, so you’ve only got a couple days to sort this out, but luckily we’ve got options to cover you for every kind of dad out there, or nearly every type. I’m sure you can wing it. If it’s not too early in the day you could head out to grab a pint, go down to some of the scenic beer gardens in London, or head over to a sports bar if you can handle all of the testosterone. It’s also perfect for the times when you haven’t got all the cash in the world but want to treat your dad to a nice couple of hours, depending on how many drinks he can get through. If the weather isn’t too bad you can go to Hampstead Heath to The Spaniard Inn, an iconic London pub dating back to the 1500’s. They have a walled beer garden,...

Great Ice Cream in London!

Image
London isn’t well known for warm weather, so as soon as we get it for a couple days we’re all over the summer outfits, and picnics in the park. Another great thing for summer is the classic Mr.Whippy. London as a whole has moved on a lot though since the classic ice creams like the 99, calippos, and mr.bubble ice lollies. With so much to offer for every diet, you know you’ll be able to enjoy the few summer days or if you’re trying to live through the rain, you can get some ice cream to remind yourself of the warmth of summer. So vegans, we have you covered, a couple places on here are entirely vegan. Starting off with Mamasons Dirty Ice Cream in Kentish Town, a Filipino take on the classic ice-cream parlour. There’s so many interesting flavours to choose from here. Their signature flavour is ‘ube’ which is made with a native purple yam. If you’re feeling really outgoing then you can try their salty cheese-based ‘queso’ flavour. If you’re planning to go with friends, and there’s a ...
