The Best Urban Beaches of London

Image
If and when the lovely British Summer decides to show itself, we all would love to head down to the beach, but here’s the catch; By the time you’ve picked out your swimsuit, a date, and the right factor sunscreen the weather has already changed again before you stepped out of the door. With the busy London lives everybody seems to have around here, we can’t always venture too far out, but we still want to enjoy the sandcastles, cocktails, and beach loungers. This is where we have you covered. There's a few urban beaches dotted around London, they have the sand, water, drinks, and more. So you can enjoy it all without being too far away from home when it inevitably pours down! Starting off with a great option right next to the Thames. Neverland’s Fulham Beach Club has a great atmosphere, definitely more on the adult side of things, rather than the family fun beach option. Not only does it have the beach for you, there's a fully stocked bar with great cocktails, and a restaur...

Things to do in Bank Holidays

Image
Bank holidays for most of us mean a lovely long weekend when we can spend time with friends and family, doing the things we really enjoy. Most of the people decide spend this period in other countries but after reading this options below, you'll wonder why you even contemplated leaving. 1. Notting Hill Carnival Notting Hill Carnival is the biggest street festival in Europe. Every year the music bring the sounds of the Caribbean to the streets of the capital, while the food stalls are sensational and the floats in the parade dazzle the eyes. Bring a healthy appetite along to Carnival, as there are patties, curries, jerk chicken and fried plantain from the street stalls to sink your teeth into. Besides, different events are organized, from family events to late night after parties, there's something for everyone. It's taking place on Sunday and Monday this year, so if you fancy a two day celebration head on over, you won't be disappointed. 2. Camden Beach  ...

Bank Holiday's best plans just 1 hour far from London!

Image
With bank holiday coming up this Monday, here are some fresh ideas for where to go if you fancy getting out of the city. Hop on the train at Victoria and you’ll be in Brighton in roughly 50 mins. It’s cool, you’ll be by the sea, it’s always sunny and there are loads of nice places to eat fish and chips , drink and people watch. You also can find cabaret, comedy, classical concerts, theatre and loads of other stuff to keep you entertained. Not up for Brighton? Then check out some of the Polo match fixtures in Sussex . People riding horses whilst hitting balls with sticks, free entry and a licensed bar serving bubbles all sounds pretty good to us. Our next suggestion is punting in Oxford. Head down to the  Magdalen Bridge Boathouse where you can choose to hire a rowing boat, pedalo or punt. If you’re feeling a little lazy you can even enjoy a chauffeured punting experience. Moreover, there is plenty more the city has to offer. Go for a wander aroun...
