Some Spooky Spots In London!

Image
This Halloween, prepare to be scared by the City of London. It's easy to feel spooked while wandering the city considering the frequency of ghost sightings and things get even worse after discovering the twisted fates that some of London’s resident ghosts met before their deaths.  Whether you believe in the supernatural or not, exploring these spooky hotspots will make for a memorable night. Here’s our list of just a few of our favourite spooky spots in the city. And no, there aren’t any graveyards, remember, it’s a resting place, not a box to tick on the goth bucket list. First off you can head down to this pub originally known as the Jack the Ripper, this Spitalfields pub can't get away from its gory history. Now named The Ten Bells, some accounts of the Ripper story link two of his victims, Annie Chapman and Mary Jane Kelly, to the pub. Annie Chapman may have drunk at the pub shortly before she was murdered; and it has been suggested that the pavement outside of the pu...

Gaming Bars in London!

Image
Remember when you were younger and had all the time in the world to play video games? Spending hours staring at the screen with your mum moaning at you every twenty minutes saying you’d get square eyes? Yeah, we all remember that, but now we’re adults and can make our own decision on whether we want square eyes or not. So getting back into the childish ways, maybe you don’t have as many hours but you want to get nostalgic with friends, then there’s lots of places in London for you to go. What’s best about it is that they're pretty much all exclusively bars, so enjoy the themed drinks, fun games, and friends. Here’s just a few of our current favourites! Starting off with Meltdown Bar in Islington, they base their main experience around esports, so you know you're going to be getting competitive with your friends, just don’t lose too much betting with friends on the loser. A lot like a sports pub, but everyone is gathered around watching League of Legends tournaments. One di...

Where To Go To Watch The World Cup.

Image
The World Cup is almost here. The 2018 FIFA World Cup will be the 21st FIFA World Cup so far, and It is taking place on the 14th of June until the 15th of July in Russia. They were awarded the hosting rights all the way back in 2010. For a full month this summer, we get to witness an amazing sport, but mostly it’s just an excuse to go to the pub. But there’s going to be hundreds of places throughout London showing the World Cup, so we thought we would give you a list of just a few of them! Tropicana Beach Club in Covent Garden is showing matches on giant screens, with their own special food menus available for the tournament! You can make a whole event of it, and they’ve got rooms to hire as well if you're planning on bringing all your friends with you. Piana Works in Farringdon is usually a music venue, but for now, they're pausing the music to screen the matches. They’ve got planned special deals for you when a yellow or red card is given out and a cocktail hour to...
