Out of the Ordinary Valentine's Day Ideas!

Image
We’re a week away from Valentine’s Day, and that’s okay, because if you haven’t made plans already there is still a lot of time to get those plans set in stone. No disappointing your partner by trying to get them in that fancy restaurant that’s been booked up for three months and leaving in embarrassment. We have some ideas for you that are out of the ordinary and still have tickets left! Whilst London is completely smothered by lovey dovey cards, and chocolates, you can take your partner to the more interesting nights out and save the chocolate and flowers for after if you feel like it. Whether you’re loved up or not you can enjoy these dates out. Just take a friend instead, you can still have fun!  Firstly, you can head down to the Natural History Museum, not a usual spot, but that’s all in the fun of it. They’re turning the charm all the way up with their adults-only event, talks, and activities! One of their events being all about courtship, and copulation in the anima...

Some Spooky Spots In London!

Image
This Halloween, prepare to be scared by the City of London. It's easy to feel spooked while wandering the city considering the frequency of ghost sightings and things get even worse after discovering the twisted fates that some of London’s resident ghosts met before their deaths.  Whether you believe in the supernatural or not, exploring these spooky hotspots will make for a memorable night. Here’s our list of just a few of our favourite spooky spots in the city. And no, there aren’t any graveyards, remember, it’s a resting place, not a box to tick on the goth bucket list. First off you can head down to this pub originally known as the Jack the Ripper, this Spitalfields pub can't get away from its gory history. Now named The Ten Bells, some accounts of the Ripper story link two of his victims, Annie Chapman and Mary Jane Kelly, to the pub. Annie Chapman may have drunk at the pub shortly before she was murdered; and it has been suggested that the pavement outside of the pu...

Some of the weirdest places London has to offer!

Image
London is the best known cities in the world, there’s enough touristy memorabilia to fill a museum ten times over, but with London being as big as it is, the touristy parts can become pretty repetitive. We can all goon the London Eye, down the Thames, get on a Double Decker red bus. There’s nothing wrong with that, and that’s part of the classic experience that comes with London. However, for those that like to really venture to weird and wacky parts of London, we have a great list to offer you,. We have some unconventional places that can show you just some of the weirdest and most fascinating that London has to offer! Starting off with a place that just cannot be replicated, with have the Novelty Automation Museum. Just hidden behind a Bloomsbury shop front is an arcade that really doesn’t think Pacman is all that interesting. Created by a completely mad artist and inventor Tim Hunkin over the space of thirty years, each arcade game has a very interesting story behind it, and com...

Starting off with something that usually you wouldn’t do alone, but change the screen to 10% of the size and your binge watching the Office on Netflix for thr...
