Best Free and Affordable Online Classes!

Whilst we’re all trying our best to make the most of our time whilst inside it’s easy to say that scrolling our phones all day just won’t cut it. We need to make sure we’re learning everyday, it doesn’t have to be Maths or history you can learn whatever you want to. Especially when the internet has millions of things to offer you. Were you thinking of going back to school, or maybe taking some late classes between work, well this can work well for you. Whether you want to start learning about something to help your career or just to learn more about a hobby, it can all be completely free and you can even get qualifications from it. Best part, these sites will be showing you are free, or extremely affordable. You can work to your own pace, in the enjoyment of your own home. You spend way less on commuting to class and you get to learn just as much.
Starting off with Udemy, this site works with top professors and schools to bring really high quality content to its users. They offer courses in marketing, health, productivity, lifestyle, and way more. There are currently more than 30 million students using their services, and a plus is that their courses are made in over 50 different languages so there is so much opportunity to learn through Udemy. Even though the site has free, and paid content you can still get experts on the free ones too. They have experts, professionals, entrepreneurs, and professors. They also always have discounts too, so if you plan on spending that extra bit of money on a course, wait a bit and see if it goes on a discount.

Going over to a more specific course to learn, we have Code. This website revolves around teaching you all about coding and app writing, they even have options for kids to learn as well. They offer a wide variety of courses that are completely free too. They include robotics, Java script and app writing so when you decide you want to make the next big phone game like angry birds, or flappy bird then here’s a good place to start. One great thing about Code’s courses is that they can be used in group settings too so if you have a group of friends all wanting to learn you can do it like that as well. Maybe use the robotics course and get on the next series of Robot Wars.

Next is one of my favourite free to use learning sites. It’s Memrise. Memrise is a really impressive desktop and phone app to learn new languages. There is no limit at all on what you can learn and there are thousands of user built courses that can help you learn very specific topics in your chosen language. If you’re really into one particular hobby I can assure that a user has made a course for you just about that. A great part of Memrise is how they bring s game elements to learning a new language, it makes it funny, and a lot easier to get to grips with the language.

Finally we’re moving onto iTunesU. This site can perfectly go with your ipad, iphone, any6 apple products really, all you need to do is download the app. You can search through genres and topics to find exactly what you;re wanting to learn whilst on the move. There’s lots of free videos and podcasts to choose from to learn with, there is also paid content too but you don’t have to purchase that. The only downside to this one is that it does not integrate with Google Play and Windows. However there is still a lot you can learn.

We hope there is a good few options on this list for you, and you can pick up some new skills whether it be for your hobby or for your career, enjoy learning!
