Halloween Movies That Won't Disappoint

Halloween came around fast and everyone is trying to find the perfect costume and the perfect party. However, for all our friends who are staying in this Halloween, we have compiled a list of all the best spooky movies for you to binge! From the family-friendly to hiding under the covers, we’ve got it all!

Corpse Bride
This 2005 classic was a Halloween staple back in the day. Corpse Bride is all about a young man named Victor who is stuck in a love triangle with two women, one alive and one a corpse. It is definitely one of the more family-friendly ones on the list.

Hotel Transylvania
Take a trip to Hotel Transylvania this Halloween, as a young human goes to stay there and has to pretend to be a monster but when he meets Dracula’s daughter, he is bound to end up in trouble! This is a popular one amongst the young ones nowadays and with a third film coming out it is definitely a good time to re-watch the lovable monsters of Hotel Transylvania.

Gremlins
An old classic always goes down well at Halloween. Bring back these strangely adorable creatures just for one night as you embark on a spooky (but not too spooky…) evening! The Gremlins came on screen twice; the first film came out in the late 80’s and viewers are still wondering if there will ever be a third.

The Nightmare Before Christmas
Although many determine this should be shown at the end of the year. We are here to say this is one that stays in October. The spooky film sets out to destroy Christmas and turn it into a spooky holiday … much like Halloween!

Sleepy Hollow
This 1999 classic had to belong on the list. Jonny Depp is the epitome of Halloween and one of the faces you will not miss in late October.

Scream
Scream; for when you want to watch a horror film but you don’t want to be scared. The Scream series is a great binge watch if you’re looking for some spooky humor this holiday. You can’t beat the stereotypical phone calls and terrified victims.

Saw
This is a face that haunts many nightmares however if you are looking for the gruesome side of the horror genre, you are heading in the right direction. The Saw movies were one of a kind. If this is what you’re into then why not have a Saw marathon and watch all of the films on Halloween.

Goodnight Mommy
Some would say it is hard to use children in horror movies; but ‘Goodnight Mommy’ disagrees. Based on twin boys who do everything together. They welcome their mother home from reconstructive surgery but with bandages covering her face they grow suspicious of her identity.
This film will definitely leave you feeling uneasy.

Halloween
The timing could not be better to watch the Halloween series. With Michael Myers making his first appearance in 1978. He is reappearing this year (2018), 40 years on, Laurie Strode is ready to face her attacker from all those years ago.
