If you like the cinema, want to have a fun time with your friends or have a romantic date, the outdoor cinema is the perfect idea.

If you plan come to london or you are in London and you are looking for fun things to do with your friends, if  you are a couple, or out on your own? I recommend a visit to the outdoor cinema, a bag of popcorn and you will have a good time.

There are a lot of ways for enjoy the movies under the stars. Take your pick of rooftops, boats, parks or hot tubs!

Rooftop Film Club - Queen of Hoxton: Shoreditch isn't only a party place, you can also enjoy a film at the Rooftop Film Club. They have perfected the art of outdoor cinema on the roof of the Queen of Hoxton pub, with comfy director chairs, blankets and wireless headphones. There's a bar on the roof and a BBQ, It’s a great experience that runs from May through until September.

Film4 Summer Screen: Watching a movie under the stars in Somerset House’s beautiful courtyard on a balmy summer evening is a near-perfect London experience. Films start at 9 pm, but doors open at 6.30 pm, so bring a picnic and make a night of it. This year's dates are August 6-19 and tickets go on-sale on May 15 at 10am.

Backyard Cinema: started with a bunch of mates in a garden watching ‘Jurassic Park’ projected on a bed sheet. Now they’ve got 200 deckchairs, giant two-person beanbags, posh burgers and usherettes in retro outfits on the cobbles in Camden Lock Market. Tickets on-sale from mid May.
