Best Christmas Markets of 2019!

We’re well into December now, and that means we’re Christmas Shopping. There are loads of shopping centres all over, but we like the idea of getting super festive, and involved in the Christmas spirit. That means we’re heading down to all the best Christmas fairs and markets going! Prepare to find all you want for Christmas, no matter what you;re looking for! There will be festive food such as Mince pies, mulled wine, German hot dogs too! Then there’s traditional decorations, cutting edge arts and crafts. If you;re looking for that last minute gift then a classic Christmas market is great for that too! Now let’s get into just a few of the best!

Starting with Leicester Square, it's been on since the 8th of November, and will go on all the way up until the 5th of January, so don’t worry about not getting there before Christmas, you can carry on with that festive fun all the way into 2020! At the very heart of the London district, a beautiful sparkly market is happening! You can wander around all the food and gift stalls. An incredible part of this place is that there are dozens of variety performances on, so you can watch things such as fire-breathing, drag tributes, and cabaret too, all whilst sipping on your mulled wine to keep you warm!

Moving onto Kingston Christmas Market, this one goes on until December 31st, so you need to get in there before the year is out! This very traditional Christmas market will have hand-crafted gifts and mulled wine galore! All of the stalls are housed in beautiful wooden cabins with twinkling lights and decorations all across them. It’s the perfect place to get festive and get some stocking fillers too! There will entertainment throughout the month too so make sure to hang around for all of that! Then when you get a bit peckish you can have some lovely Christmas comfort food too!

Finally heading down to Christmas by the River in Bankside. This is another one that carries on into the new year so you have lots of time to get your festive fun! With a stunning backdrop of Tower Bridge and the city skyline, this Christmas market has been illuminating the riverside for the past four years. This year there is a vintage ski theme, so it’s a fun spot for a first date! Offering beautiful huts packed with original presents, handmade crafts and plenty of delicious snacks.

Hopefully you can head down to one of these over December, enjoy the food, fun, and festivities.
