Bank Holiday's best plans just 1 hour far from London!

Image
With bank holiday coming up this Monday, here are some fresh ideas for where to go if you fancy getting out of the city. Hop on the train at Victoria and you’ll be in Brighton in roughly 50 mins. It’s cool, you’ll be by the sea, it’s always sunny and there are loads of nice places to eat fish and chips , drink and people watch. You also can find cabaret, comedy, classical concerts, theatre and loads of other stuff to keep you entertained. Not up for Brighton? Then check out some of the Polo match fixtures in Sussex . Moreover, there is plenty more the city has to offer. Go for a wander aroun...

How can you improve banter and flatmate relationships, you may wonder? Here are our top student socialising tips to make your flatshare as fun as possible: Flatmate Do’s: - Get talking: Ok, so this might seem like a bit of an obvious choice, but you can wiggle out some interesting conversation out of even the most reticent of flatmates through topical chit-chat . Why not ask them what sort of music they’re into, or better still, offer to watch a good artsy foreign film with them? Even if it’s only for a couple of hours, you might find that you share similar interests with at least a couple of your home buddies. - Ready, steady, cook: A table for one is not exactly much fun, ...
