Some of the Best Games for Xbox and PlayStation!

Image
There are so many consoles out there, and right up there as the main competitors we have Xbox versus Playstation. I personally love both, have both with all their generations and both have pros and cons. This blog isn’t about picking apart each one and why they're better. It definitely won’t be about how PC is ultimately better than all of them anyway. I’m here to talk about some of the best games that have been brought out on both Xbox and Playstation, and if you haven’t played these before I would definitely recommend them. There are options for the 360, ps3, Xbox One, and PS4. So no matter what one you’ve got you’ll have a couple options on here for you. The plus is that you can get these games from Amazon, ebay, game, pretty much anywhere and you don’t even have to leave your house and they’re still pretty affordable games too with lots of gameplay hours behind them. Starting with options for the Playstation3 and Xbox 360: Bioshock Infinite is an amazing place to sta...

Ways To Waste Time on the Internet!

Image
Spending time online can be endless, in fact it is endless. You will never run out of things to do. Along with all of your favourite social media, and streaming platforms, you can always learn something new to. You’re not here to learn about what the internet is though, you’re here to waste time, and as much of it is possible. Sometimes when you’re online you’ve finished scrolling Tik Tok for the past four hours and now you want to do something else. Here’s a list of random websites for you to truly just drain sometime into to get the hours going. You may even learn something new whilst you’re at it.  Starting off with a fun game, this is called ‘Little Alchemy’. I’ve played this game alone and with friends, and it definitely can become quite addicting. This is a very basic game where you start with the base elements. Earth, fire, water, air is all you get. You have to piece these together to make new objects, animals, etc. Such as putting Earth and fire together you get la...

Celebrating Father's Day!

Image
We’re only a week away from this year’s Father’s Day, and there is always so much celebrating and fun to be had, but it may not always be that easy to celebrate with your dad if you’re in another house, city, country. Celebrating your dad and everything he has done for you can be so easy and still mean a lot. There are many different ways to celebrate, when together, and from a distance. We’ve got options to make some fun memories, and great experiences! Starting with a classic, this one is one you’d need to be there for, but we have an idea to do it differently too. Breakfast in a bed is always a sweet way to start, you can make their favourite food for them whether it be a full fry-up or as basic as cereal. Now you may be able to achieve this from home as long as they’re willing to get out of bed for it. You can use any of your basic food delivery apps, find one that’s got some good breakfast food, cereal may not be an option here. But you can send this over to them to enjoy i...

An Introduction to Pride and This Year's Parade

Image
With the annual Pride parade tomorrow, we can really get into the great fun it has to offer! There is something for absolutely everybody at Pride, this year and every year previous, and every single one going forward. With the world celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall riots , it’s a great time to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community in style. Whether you’re looking to follow the parade, catch the great acts afterwards, or just relax in the sun with your friends, there is a lot of opportunity for some fabulous fun in London!  The first official Pride rally in London was held on July 1st 1972, celebrating 2 years since the Stonewall riots in New York in 1969. Now a whole 48 years on we’ve gone from 2,000 people turning up to last years reports showing over one million people, with even more expecting to turn up this year!  The main parade will kick off at 12pm,  starting at Portland Place. The 1.4 mile route will then head down to Oxford Circus, along Regen...

Father's Day in London!

Image
Whether you’re the type to splash the cash on events like this or you’re the last minute sainsburys bottle of wine and a card person, Father’s Day is still right around the corner, and you still want your dad to be proud of you right? This year Father’s Day falls on Sunday the 16th, so you’ve only got a couple days to sort this out, but luckily we’ve got options to cover you for every kind of dad out there, or nearly every type. I’m sure you can wing it. If it’s not too early in the day you could head out to grab a pint, go down to some of the scenic beer gardens in London, or head over to a sports bar if you can handle all of the testosterone. It’s also perfect for the times when you haven’t got all the cash in the world but want to treat your dad to a nice couple of hours, depending on how many drinks he can get through. If the weather isn’t too bad you can go to Hampstead Heath to The Spaniard Inn, an iconic London pub dating back to the 1500’s. They have a walled beer garden,...

Cycling in London

Image
CYCLING  IN LONDON London has experienced an important increase in the amount of cyclists during the last years. Many times it can be both faster and cheaper to pick up you own  bike and just go ahead. It is a perfect way to move around doing some sports, even more in summer, and be able to take a look to those places we never get to see in London. If you still do not own a bike, don't panic. As you probably know it is very cheap to rent one of the bikes provided by Barclays , so there are no more excuses to avoid it. The facilities we've got now to stop stressing out and enjoy the freedom of riding are many. If you wonder what kind of places or routes are better for you, try Paddington to Hayes ,  Bow to Tottenham , Limehouse to Little Venice , or Richmond to Hampton Court . All of them take less than an hour, and will let you discover new places, admire London architecture and the hidden streets or neighborhoods. It is mandatory to mention the Wor...
